Where Eagles Dare (1968)

Plays quite like a Bond-movie, much too heavy on the action, which is not that spectacular by today's standards.

Great soundtrack, very feel good!

Love Actually (2003)

Don't know who's sweetest of Laura Linney or Liam Neeson in this film.

Also kinda feel like the storylines of Sarah and Karl as well as Mia weren't wrapped up?

That Christmas no. 1 is awful both in lyrics and performance.

Decent visuals and good music. The story is the weakest point.

Tales from Earthsea (2006)

Great soundtrack, beautifully drawn and animated world and a decent story. <3

The author of the books disliked it though, so I'd like to watch something truer to the universe if they make it later, e.g. a new TV series.
Didn't learn that much about the universe here IMO.

Very disappointing compared to the series, which was great!

The Breadwinner (2017)

Best film I've watched in quite a while!
Good story, nice audio-visually and despite it's sad nature they manage to add humor as well.
Not that humor is required for a good film on a serious topic, but I think in this case it's done well.

Would like to watch the other "Cartoon Saloon" films!

A History of Violence (2005)

Pretty anvilicious movie, and thus quite predictable.
Visuals are just decent, and the acting is arguably sub par. Audio is good, but not great.
