Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)

Despite its obvious flaws which include Jar-Jar, stupid Yoda and a not-so-impressive Anakin Skywalker, it manages to be remain fairly exciting and interesting. Not the least due to Darth Maul, Queen Amidala and the Jedi-duo.

Edit: They replaced puppet yoda with CGI yoda in the newer releases, looking much better! A change I'm actually very glad they made!

Not a very good film - and then it's basically a story glorifying paedophilia (wtf!), and of course in the most common way in storytelling: where its an older man and younger girl*.
 
* This is probably the case IRL too, perhaps partially because attraction to underage or young characteristics is unfortunately more common. Stop glorifying sexual abuse and differences in power (unless the latter is play, like BDSM)!
