Closer to 4 than 2. Would like to re-watch as I think I missed some clues, and some of the real world commentary!
Surprisingly complex compared to what I (mostly) expected from the trailer, but that's not a bad thing.

Bullets Over Broadway (1994)

Helen's agent Sid reminds me a little of Gomez Addams, though a lot less worshipping.

Some favourite scenes: 
- he wakes up screaming he's sold out as an artist
- she tells him to be silent and not profess his feelings for her
  ...and it keeps on going in later scenes, lol xD She plays that really hilariously.

The Curse of the Jade Scorpion (2001)

Well written, witty dialogue as usual, but also creepily written characters for women, and a rapey protagonist played by himself, willing to manipulate massively for a kiss and more.  ...and the ending really doesn't change his intent

I recommend not supporting Woody Allen's films financially. Search "Dylan Farrow".

Beautiful film. 

Feels very strange that Jiro starts out as this big hero, but he leaves his ill, newly wed wife alone all that time focusing so much on work, and she seemingly doesn't care about her life which he just goes along with ( :/ ), not objecting to her staying with him, and smoking right in front of her instead of skipping that smoke in her company, when she won't let go of his hand. Get your priorities straight.

Beautiful location towards the end!
