Didn't really get what was so relatively significant about the first half of the movie - but then I'd don't live in The US, so I'm not as used to loony christians everywhere.

The Expendables (2010)

♥♥

The action scenes are the only notable plusses, and since they're majorly present in the second half, it's much better than the first.

All movies or TV series' by Sylvester Stallone

Death Proof (2007)

Saw only 75% or so. Would like to see it in entirety sometime.

Blade Runner (1982)

This movie didn't enthrall me the first time around, where I actually found it fairly "lame".
In a recent reviewing however, I found myself immersed in its alienation, constant mystery and eerie atmosphere, not least on part of the stunning photography, and soundtrack. The final scenes are worth emphasis.

The sexual assault scene is really horrible though. With the romantic music accompanying it it even seems to send the message that this is not problematic or even fine. What a disturbing message to send to the viewers!!

All movies or TV series' by Ridley Scott

Rambo: First Blood Part II (1985)

All movies or TV series' by George P. Cosmatos

Rambo III (1988)

♥♥♥♥

It's awesome. Not on par with the first in the series but clearly kicking the ass of the second. Music, photography, action sequences, one-liners: all great, and Rambo is back doing what he should: guerilla combat!

All movies or TV series' by Peter MacDonald

The Wrestler (2008)

All movies or TV series' by Grant Heslov

Die Hard 2 (1990)

"Sergent, get this bureaucrat out of the face of Mister McClane, now." Somewhat confusing and not as interesting characters , nor as good of a soundtrack, nor as awesome action scenes as the first one. I liked the chief of military, though, and the ending was pretty neat.

Live Free or Die Hard (2007)

The whole thing is rather boring and stupid. Bruce Willis, increasingly patriotic, surrounded by a bunch of superficial, no-good characters (or actors, or directing) lower quality humor compared to the previous entries, visual effects-based action and some skin deep message of loving the status quo and fearing people who understand something obscure because of a hobby and not a job. People need central control, or else we have anarchy: We need the state: We need America.
