Not as bad as I thought the first time seeing it, though probably still the lowest ranking of the new trilogy. At least Amidala hasn't fully character devolved yet, unlike in III, and Yoda has gotten smarter since I.

Despite its obvious flaws which include Jar-Jar, stupid Yoda and a not-so-impressive Anakin Skywalker, it manages to be remain fairly exciting and interesting. Not the least due to Darth Maul, Queen Amidala and the Jedi-duo. Edit: They replaced puppet yoda with CGI yoda in the newer releases, looking much better! A change I'm actually very glad they made!
