Much better than Skyfall in my opinion. More twists, less overly powerful Bond who's also being outsmarted at times, which makes it more interesting. Well played by Le Chiffre.

Closer to 4 than 2. Nice to see Jeffrey Wright after having watched Westworld! I've yet to see Quantum of Solace and Spectre (and have forgotten a lot regarding Casino Royale, and I think I've only seen the end of Skyfall), so a lot of the backstory was lost on me, regarding Blofield (well, except I had recently seen (In Her Majesty's Secret Service), Mr. White who I didn't know who was, and Madeleine who I hadn't seen as I hadn't seen Spectre. So I'd suggest watching those first as there's some continuity here.

James 'Creep' Bond strikes again, and quite a bit of sexism, and only a small portion of it is subverted. Other than that it was fairly entertaining. Who is the least creepy Bond? Maybe Lazenby or Craig? Curious what the future will bring, if the franchise continues much longer.

Closer to 4 than 2. Stalking a woman and then objectifying her, that's James Bond alright :/ And he's even among the less awful Bonds in this regard. We'll see what the future brings. My guess is substantially better movies. Bond ratings are presumably: Roger Moore > Pierce Brosnan > George Lazenby > Sean Connery > Daniel Craig >Timothy Dalton

I've actually seen a lot of James Bond movies but it was before I started rating them. I seem to remember my favourite of the long-time Bonds was Roger Moore. I'm inclined to rank them like this: Roger Moore, Pierce Brosnan, Sean Connery, Daniel Craig. I don't remember what I felt about the different short-term Bonds. What annoys be about Sean Connery is not the acting but rather the type of Bond he plays. Hoping for a more progressive Bond in the future. There can still be romance, even towards many people, as long as he doesn't treat them worthlessly or mislead them but is upfront about it. He can have an asshole side but not be like that towards an entire gender, but rather to those individuals who actually deserve it. Furthermore there can be spy-movie antics, gadgets and the like which we all know from the series.
