I like it! Great music! So many references, and I was glad to notice "Hello there!" among them. It's better than Mandalorian, IMO, but it could partially be due to a soft spot for Ewan McGregor, and the more familiar characters. Might even beat some of the movies like Rogue One, though I did come in with lower expectations so that could've influenced me.That said it is takes a bit off of the excitement, especially the final episode, when everything happens in between the films, so we know many of the involved characters have plot armor, ie. they definitely will survive. Imagine how many lives could've been saved if he'd killed Vader. I kinda want a video where he's saying "Execute order 65" intentionally or accidentally, or some other nearby or similar number, and something silly happens. xD Leai's actor's performance is much better than young Anakin btw., and probably even old Anakin/Hayden for that matter.Feel like we never really see how powerful the other three inquisitors are. Kinda hard to see Third Sister as good when she's the most violent of the inquisitors, including killing random people so nonchalantly. It seems a bit sudden that she feels respect for human life. I guess it could be exclusively children she feels for at that point. Though she was about to torture/kill Leia it seemed.

Actually liked it quite a lot, way more so than Rogue One, and maybe slightly below or on par with VII? Not as bad as I thought the first time seeing it, though probably still the lowest ranking of the new trilogy. At least Amidala hasn't fully character devolved yet, unlike in III, and Yoda has gotten smarter since I.

Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999)

Despite its obvious flaws which include Jar-Jar, stupid Yoda and a not-so-impressive Anakin Skywalker, it manages to be remain fairly exciting and interesting. Not the least due to Darth Maul, Queen Amidala and the Jedi-duo. Edit: They replaced puppet yoda with CGI yoda in the newer releases, looking much better! A change I'm actually very glad they made!

Probably my least favourite Star Wars-film on my first watch, being the only watch as of this review. Not as good music-wise, and storytelling-wise. The movie didn't manage to make me empathise much with any of the characters.
