Beautiful film. Feels very strange that Jiro starts out as this big hero, but he leaves his ill, newly wed wife alone all that time focusing so much on work, and she seemingly doesn't care about her life which he just goes along with ( :/ ), not objecting to her staying with him, and smoking right in front of her instead of skipping that smoke in her company, when she won't let go of his hand. Get your priorities straight.
